Our Diocese

 St. Peter’s Marthoma church comes under the aegis of the Diocese of North America & Europe, which is a diocese of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church that consists of all the Mar Thoma churches in North America and Europe. The diocese headquarters is at Sinai Mar Thoma Centre, Merrick, New York. Currently our diocesan bishop is Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos. There are around 66 parishes and 12   congregations under the diocese.

To lead  and develop the diocese, the Episcopal Synod of the Mar Thoma Church appointed resident bishops from 1993.

1. Rt. Rev. Dr. Zacharias Mar Theophilus (October 1993 – October 2000)
2. Rt. Rev. Dr. Euyakim Mar Coorilos (October 2000 – December 2008)
3. Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius( from January 1, 2009 to December 2015)

4. Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos (from January 2016)
