Yuvajana Sakhyam (Youth Fellowship)
The Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam was organized with a view that all the young people in the Church should accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord, and bear witness to His saving power. It was organized in 1933 by a resolution of the Sabha Prathinidhi Mandalam. Branches of the Yuvajana Sakhyam were set up in parishes with the fourfold objective of Worship, Study, Witness and Service.
The St. Peter’s Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam is a vibrant and active youth organization within the church, gathering twice a month to grow in Faith and Fellowship. The youths are dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, community service, and personal development among the youth. Actively supported by the Church, they play a crucial role in various Church activities, providing a dynamic space for young people to connect, learn and serve. Whether you’re looking to deepen your faith, engage in meaningful discussions, or participate in community outreach, our Yuvajana Sakhyam offers a welcoming environment for all youths to thrive. Join us and be part of a community that nurtures Faith, Friendship and Service.
Meetings
The Yuvajana Sakhyam members meets two Sundays in a month at the Church Hall of the Ascension Church (Collier Row) after the service.
